a mental evening with all da boys. without a doubt a highlight of my trip. the evening started more like late afternoon with rounds of ping pong and beers in the garage. later on moving inside we all grinded out on various poke dishes, char siu pork, and edamame. so much aloha in the house it was amazing. only then did i feel i was just scraping the surface of the local hawaiian culture. safe to say this night went on into the early morning and a not so pleasant morning ensued waking up the next day.
