stumbled upon this book originally printed in 1972 by paul stoutenburgh on old inlet, it contains some vintage pictures of fire island past and the faces that frequented it. it seems the timeless mystique of the island has had a hold on past and present generations & as long as the island is there im sure will serve the same for future generations.
